this arrived in the mail like 3 days ago but i only opened it today. i find it somewhat true and i'd love to share them with you... i'm going to write comments on each of these but right now, i dont seem to hv the time. guess i'll comment on them later la...

oklah... now i wanted to talk about me

finally, my final exam is over new semester starts on january next year so in the meantime, i should enjoy my weekly breakfast at Foo Phing Dim Sum to the fullest. you guys should try some. price range from RM2-RM5 with additional 5% govt tax. plus, the waiter/waitresses are all locals i think this is my second time promoting Foo Phing, i should get a discount for doing this

and on thursday, i'll be joining the Gerak Usahawan 2005 hehehehhh... i'm not sure what to expect since this is my first time joining such thing. the promo looks interesting mainly coz it's free but you know laa... normally when it's free, u just dont put high expectation. will tell y'all all about it nx week.

other than that, nothing interesting happened

oh and by the way, my ellone now has mastered a few more tricks. i did mention that she can already walk with support, didnt i? other than that, she can now :

put her hand on her forehead when we say "alamakkkk..."

sing/lalala-ing/humming - of course she couldnt pronounce the words la..

she never failed to amaze me... and i cant wait to get home today and see what else she has learned. she'll turn 10 mths on friday. hmmm... time flies....

Learning PHP

some people are very ambitious and i'm not talking about me. because of this ambitious person, i hv to learn PHP, the language i hate fear the most

i know sooner or later i'll just hv to accept the fact that WE ARE moving to opensource and i HAVE to like PHP and i MUST learn PHP regardless of how i feel about the said lang. ya laaa... some of my readers "speak fluent PHP" (yes, you!) and i was being reminded over and over again about the wonders of PHP but i just couldnt bring myself to actually fall in love with it.

actually i dont have anything against PHP, it's just that i dont like setting up dummy server and all those little little things before i can actually start using PHP! not only PHP la, same goes with JSP, ASP laa... hv to setup ODBC laa... JDBC laa... all those DBC DBC lah... malas oooo...

so, i've installed easyPHP in my pc. quite convenient la so that i dont have to install the components one by one.

oklah.. i'm off to test my FIRST SCRIPT.

Harry Potter Tonight!!!

we're going to watch Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire tonight



we bought the tickets yesterday and kunun we thought we're early, tau2 the 8.45 punya show fullhouse already! aiyaaaaa!!!! so no choice, we hv to take the 9.40 punya. the show is about 2 1/2 hrs so that means (iklan : i dun know y most people say "thats mean") we'll only be back around midnight. luckily my sis-in-law agreed to look after ellone. hopefully ellone wont give her a hard time.

my papa turns 51 today and as i was about to write this down, i realized that i dont really have a latest photo of him. all i have is this

anyway... doesnt really matter bcos believe me, he still looks like that. no additional wrinkles, not even a single gray hair - well, none that i can see lah.. some of his colleague even think that he's only 45

actually, i've spent the last 2 1/2 hrs writing about him. when i hit the publish button, it took so long for the page to be refreshed so stupid me went and click the button again. guess what? *poof* everything gone! buduh me kan? blogger has this "recover post" link so i tried to click on that and i only get a few paragraphs back, y'know, the portion before this paragraph. so lazy to write again so, i guess this will be all lah!

sebagai pembuka tirai, i'd like to share a story... story i'd like to call "cherry moment" which happened a few nights ago. i was watching tv and...

cherry : aunty mimi, what u eat?
mimi : nothing (eyes still fixed on the tv)
cherry : what u eat? (louder)
mimi : nothing...
cherry : see your mouth.. aaa??? (asking me to open my mouth)
mimi : *open mouth* aaaa...
cherry : ooo... nothing...

and then she went away... a few seconds later, she came back with a bowl

cherry : aunty mimi, cherry want to eat nothing... (gave me the bowl)
mimi : huh?!!!

blur terus sia ooo... heheheh... want to eat nothing? how do you eat nothing? tsk..tsk..tsk...

wah... i hvnt updated for 10 days ooo... actually i have a lot to write but i'm just too lazy to type. so... i'll just summarize the 10 days punya crita la...

on the 1st of Nov, we were invited to a birthday party (cum picnic) at Melinsung Summer Bay. if u still remember, last yr i did blog about being invited to a birtday party at this very place. at that time, i was 6 mth pregnant. i really enjoyed myself... and like last yr, i ate a lot especially when the others went swimming... heheheh...

erghhh... suddenly so lazy to type!
