the thing about this place was that, they are very punctual. maybe it's bcos they also organise a course about time management. it was stated at the letter that registration is at 8.00 a.m. i arrived at 8.30, they hv already started. yerrr... malu sendiri ooo...
looks like blogger has a new feature. but i dunno, it doesnt seem to work. i keep getting the "page can not be displayed" error.
oya, i wanted to blog about akademi fantasia but since idayu was sent home this week, i've decided not to blog much about it anymore. i hv come to a logical conclusion - that akademi fantasia's viewers who voted are stupid. how can they keep people like aidil or reza or (sorry) mawi in the competition. and i still dont get the mawi craze thing. *sigh*.
if any of my favs are being sent home next week, that's it! i wont watch it anymore.
for the 4th week, the winners of the Akademi FUG-tasia award are mawi's backup dancers.
why did they hang those christmas ornaments on themselves? alang-alang ooo... they should hv hung ketupat instead.

You are right about the voters.They do not know talent when they see one.I think Idayu stands way above many of those who are still in the competition.So was Bob from last year's AF.
Bob did not win, maybe because to many voters he is not physically appealing-not a 'full package' and apparently there were less voters from Sarawak.In my opinion,although many would probably beg to differ,Bob is easily the most talented of all the contestants in AF2.
The voting pattern is not based on talent and rationality but more on parochialism and voters sentiments.
I noticed, even our local politicians are drawn into this 'euphoria' by supporting all those so called 'fan clubs'.What they should do instead, is to tell the people to save their hard earned money and warn them about the danger of being subsconciously influenced by those fat cats and their marketing goons in the corporate world.
'Democratising' the judging process here isn't really about empowering the people and shifting the pendulum from an elite few into the hands of the masses.To me this is not about 'democracy' at all but more about 'market' exploitation.You pay to vote...the more you vote the more you pay.
It is not about the basic economy of supply and demand anymore but more about the pushing of access supply into the the face of the people. All sorts of gimmickry tactics and trickeries are being deployed to hoodwink the people into submission(by way of "afundi"-ing)
Stop 'afundi'ing and don't let yourself be exploited by those maxis-astro corporate pirates.

actually.. i was thinking of blogging about the involvement of YBs as so-called patrons to the fan club.. i dont think its right. paling shiok si ananda krishnan la.. owner of astro/maxis.. laughing all the way to the bank.
anyway mimi, malaysian/american idol shld be a lil better cuz they only broadcast the concert, so we will judge on their talent and not personality or what they do at their home...
