i was like, hahh???? laman sesawang????? 
i've never used that phrase before. sounds weird...

Actually Laman Sesawang is the Malay word for Portal. For website it's Laman Web...
There's a lot of weird IT terms in Malay... I always get confused! Anyway this reminds me, I was sitting for my Financial Management exam last Sat. and the questions were all in Malay and I was confused as hell because we learned the topic in English! It was our second midterm because a lot of us failed the first one... Maybe the lecturer thought the reason we failed was because we didn't understand the english question... so she made all the questions Malay in the second midterm... Maybe it didn't occur to her, perhaps we failed because we didn't study enough hehe.

The point I was trying to make was ... some English terms are better left in English. Mati juga bah kalau mau ingat all the terms semua in BOTH languages!

bee : upload is Muat Naik hehehehe... ya, i agree with you! English terms are better left in English. Lagipun, some english terms, especially IT terms can have more than one translation in Malay. E.g : Notebook. Some ppl says it is komputer riba, some says it is komputer bimbit.. *sigh* bikin confuse saja...
*lol* can't help myself to check balik comment here. so laman sesawang is a bigger sawang? *lol* must be due to the "memperkasakan bahasa" punya hal. lelen, sori... merapu pula saya di sini. mcm blog sendiri pula... *can't stop laughing*
