hihi..maybe your son just like to tease you,Mimi. Like my daughter, she purposely mispronounce some words and just giggles everytime i tried to correct her. When i give-up, then she will says it correctly..:)
hehehe so cute!
When I was a kid I was rhotacistic, meaning I had problem with my R's... I always replaced them with L's. I remember my elders trying to teach me to say Ular properly... They kept saying Ularrrrrr... and "ulalllllllll"... it sounded very right to me but they kept repeating ularrrrrrr not ulallllllll!! For some reason I tot both sounded the same hahahaha ... a lot of my cousins have some kind of speech disorder when they were kids, but they all grew up to be very intelligent students... as opposed to my other talkative and non-speech disorder cousins..., they grew up to be... well, talkative.
lols~~~ tell me about it. my son have problem with pronouncing words as well esp L and K. but then probably because his front teeth had gone :P
