Once Anonymous
i hv a confession to make.
THIS IS NOT MY FIRST BLOG
yes, you read them right. the truth is that i've been blogging since 2003; back when blogger.com used to have the big banner on top. but back then, i blog anonymously (i think that's what them bloggers call it). and back then, the title of my blog was Let's Talk About Me. why did i chose to be anonymous? when i was younger, i've always kept a diary and they were personal, you wouldnt want anybody to read your personal diary would you? and there, i wrote down all the things that has happened to me, be it happy, sad, frustrating, embarrasing, etc.
so, when i started my blog back in august 2003, i wanted to keep it a secret. well, of course the whole world can read them but being anonymous, they'll never get to know who wrote them. and i've avoided writing down names of the people i wrote about in case they're so smart and they googled their names and found my online diary (that's the popular term back then). but then, i felt that it is extremely hard to blog as anonymous; hv to be extra careful on what to/not to write and eventually, i stopped writing about me - merely posting stuff from my mailbox - until finally, i stopped posting anything at all!
i think, in early 2004, blogging has become the new internet phenomenon. people became more open in voicing out their opinions; talked about themselves, about their thoughts without worrying what other people might think and they dont even care if people know them/recognize them. well, nowadays, it even helped a lot to have a blog. if you hv a problem or in a dilemma, people who read your blog can comment on it and some of them may even solve your problem or simply provide the comfort that you needed most. blogging reliefs you from your burden, when you're down and you need someone to talk to, you can always blog and know for sure that somebody will read them and will know just how you feel - rather than keeping all your thoughts/problems/sorrow bottled up inside, that's just not healthy! why did i start blogging again? simply because of all the reasons i've mentioned before. i just needed a place to dump in all my thoughts and feelings - and also so that i hv something to do to fill my free time hehehhh. special thanks to a friend - a fellow blogger who has encourage me in doing this. visit his blog, he has a lot of thought provoking and inspiring posts in there.
so, yesterday, i found my old notebook (notebook as in a small book and not as in laptop,ok? *grin*) which i've written the username of my old blog and when i logged in, to my surprise, all my posts are still there! i've forgotten all about them. well of course i didnt forget that i once was a blogger but i thought i've deleted the blog. dear me, all this while, my other blog was still alive and still out there...
read through them and i was kind of like mesmerized by all the things that i've once said and done and all the things that was once resided in my mind. i wanted to delete them but... ala... sayang laaa...
then, i finally decided that i still want them - ok, not all actually. i'll take some of my old post and transfer them here, perhaps i need to edit some of them and perhaps, i'll just delete those that are not that proper to put in here.
well, you can expect to see my older posts in a few days time. bubbye for now, hv to do the transferring as soon as possible.

Saturday Morning
two days ago, it was raining heavily with thunder and lightning, and i, being my stupid self ignored them, continued with my FF8 game on my pc and that has ended the life of my precious modem! yes,u guessed it right, my modem was struck by lightning! arghhhh!!!! sometimes, i can be a a total ass!
so yesterday, there's this pc fair at centrepoint (a well-known shopping complex in KK). went there, bought a new modem - it's of the Aztech brand, bought two pair of shoes, two skirts and a sleeve-less blouse. actually we were there only for the pc fair - for the new modem, but...
1. i need the shoes coz i'll be going back to work in less than 2 weeks time. my feet has grown one size up, used to be size 6, now i'm up to size 7. plus i need the shoes for Elaine's (Jnr's cousin) wedding.
2. i need the skirts and the blouse also for the wedding.
installed the new modem - of course Jnr's the one who installed it coz i'm pretty stupid in installing hardwares. after much configuration (and re-configurations), he finally manage to get it working. this modem seems faster than the previous one but looks like i wasnt able to continue downloading T70sS season 5 & 6 :-( jnr said, there's something to do with the port forwarding thing. anyway, hope everything will be ok soon coz i'm up to 70% for season 6. anybody has/knows the setting for Aztech ADSL 605E port forwarding??? please... need help here!
ok... the baby's now awake, i need to bathe her before she goes back to sleep.

Happy Vernal/Spring Equinox Day Everyone!
okay, i dont read the paper that much and i seldom watched the news on tv so, i didnt know that what's going to happen today has been on the news for the past few days. y'know, the (may be slight) rise of temperature and everything... apparently, this has led to a fear for some people - especially kids. the most silly story i've heard so far was that today is going to be so hot it can boil your blood and you'd die if you go outside :-| *lol until got stomach cramp* I mean, come on... that's just plain stupid!

ok, i admit, it's nothing much but at least i'm not using the sample template anymore. was thinking of changing the color tho. i dont think blue is in anymore. maybe orange would be a lot better but guess i'm going to use this layout for a while until i figure out a new design with orange theme color. y'see, the problem with me is that i'm very bad in color coordination. i just cant decide what text color goes with what background color. say, if i'm going to use orange background, what text color should i use? any suggestion?
updated my profile too... change my profile photo and add some info on my favorite movies, music and books. my new profile photo looks more like me :-D i've just realized that i look so chinese-opera-singer in the previous photo. i'm actually darker in person.

baby's asleep and i hv nothing to do. i guess i'll do some blog-hopping and continue to download That 70s Show Season 5 and Season 6 (complete episodes oooo....). Yes, i love That 70s Show. finished downloading season 1-4 and season 7. yes people, u read them right! i've downloaded and watched That 70s Show season 7 Episode 1-9 & 11-18!!! They havent been aired in Malaysia yet, y'know!!! Too bad i didnt manage to download Episode 10. Searched the web but none! arghhhhh @#$%&*@#$!!!! anyway, Episode 19 will be aired in US on March 23 so i guess by the end of this week, i'll hv them on my pc!! Finished watching season 1 and season 2, now i'm starting on season 3 but i guess i'll wait for season 4 & 5 to complete first lah... i even hv the "That 70's Show 100th Ep Behind The Scenes Special" and the "Xtra - That 70's Show - KISS Concert Video". isn't that cool???
to tell you the truth, i wasnt always a big fan of T70sS. i seen a few episodes and it's good... really entertaining. since i'm on 2 months maternity leave and i really dont hv anything to do besides taking care of the baby, i decided to download the show. after watching the "That 70's Show 100th Ep Behind The Scenes Special", i fell in love with T70sS!

it's been a week...
...since the tragic accident and i still feel the sadness and the loss. not that i'm that close to Oton but i feel sorry for Joyce. i know how much she loved him and it must be really hard for her to get this over with. i wish i could be there for her - well, it's not like i could do anything to ease the pain but you know,just be there to comfort and support her through this trying times.
i've known Joyce for almost eight years now and we're very close back in Uni. she's one of the few person whom i immediately cliqued when we met each other. an ex-schoolmate introduced us to each other and it felt like i've known her forever. we have a lot in common... what people called "satu kepala". Still remember during the Minggu Aluan Siswa in UTM, the first day we met, we're already having so much fun checking on the hot and good looking guys and making fun of those funny-looking, wierd, un-hot and un-good looking guys during the long and boring talk. in my life, there are only two person i can share/confide everything with and she's one of them. believe me, she knows a lot about me and maybe she know me better than i know myself. i know i can always count on her. and i feel really bad not being able to be there for her :-(
i've known oton a lot longer than joyce. he's my junior back in high school. i once attended a fully residential school and when i was in form 2, i was chosen to be a prefect. then, there was this orientation week for freshies (form 1 students) and we, as prefects, have to be their mentors. that was when i first saw him. he was the cutest boy of them all and i've noticed one thing about him which i think i'll remember for the rest of my life - he has the most beautiful, wonderful, charming and sincere smile i've ever seen. his smile can warm the heart of anyone who sees it and i bet he has melted many girls' heart by his smile. so sincere you'd feel like a sinner if u failed to return that smile. i don't know him much (except by the stories told by joyce), i know him, he knows me, exchanged "hi"s and "hello"s when we saw each other in town but not more than that. oh, by the way, i've met their eldest sister jocelyn and she too has the same smile as his. he's one cool guy, from stories i heard from others and from the testimonials written on his Friendster profile (yes, he's on Friendster and goes by the name Oton). a terrible loss to his family and to those who knows him.

Well, I thought I was going to get to pester you a little while longer but you had to go and I wish I could have been with you but that's one trip we all have to make by ourselves one day. I just wish your day hadn't had to come so soon. You are one of those "virtual" friends who were always there when you are needed, always had a kind word, and was a wealth of information for those who needed help the most. You will always be missed, and most importantly, my heart goes out to you. Don't worry mate, you'll always have a place in my thoughts and deep in my heart. May you enter the Kingdom of God above there and Rest In Peace.

Life is Short...
...you'll never know when it will end, so it's up to you to make it sweet and worthwhile.
the brother of a close friend of mine passed away in a car accident this morning. this close friend of mine was my maid of honor on my wedding and this brother of hers was my ex-schoolmate. so sad... and again, i cant go and visit my friend coz i'm still in confinement :-( so young... he's going to be 25 this yr - and he's pretty good-looking too. so sad... cant believe he's really gone. well, may his soul rest in peace.
