This is so true. Friendship is all about give and take.
When it comes to friendship, I only have one simple rule - Don't be reckless with other people's hearts and don't put up with people who are reckless with yours. It's okay if friends take me for granted. It's okay if they forgot my birthday. It's okay if they sometimes forgot I exist because I understand that people have their own worries and problems. But friends that hurt their friends intentionally are not worth keeping at all....
At first, didn't think it was a good idea to post a comment here. But I couldn't help but think this was about me. And since we're not talking anytime soon or anymore, I just want to say:
Being a greedy, insensitive, over-ambitious, stupid and irritatingly selfish futsal player doesn't make me a lousy friend.
But that's entirely for you to judge.
However, kindly let me know (via email) if a "friend that hurt their friend UNINTENTIONALLY are not worth keeping at all" so I know where I stand and where everything else is going.
