New Template

Since everyone i know are changing their blog template for the new year, yours truly decided to join in the fun and end up with this simple one. i decided that this is my current favourite and i'm going to stick with it for a while.

still in the process of 'renovating' of course, so please forgive me for the mess. if your blog is not in my blogroll yet, don't worry. it will be there in a few days time. if by February it is still not there, pls remind me ya...

i wanted to continue with the all the editings BUT i didnt realize it's already past midnight - in fact, it;s already 1:00 a.m!!! no wonder i was soooo sleepy a few moments ago, but now i'm quite wide awake - but then again i had to go to sleep, otherwise, i'll have to find another reason on why i'm late (again) tomorrow... damn! i'm tempted to take emergency leave tomorrow - oops! rephrased : later today - but i have just made another resolution kunun for the new year which is... to have at least 5 annual leave to bring fwd to next year!

My Birthday Present

No no no no no! Don't wish me Happy Birthday yet! You there, zip it! No singing Happy Birthday yet! My birthday is still more than a month away BUT hubby has already 'bought' me a present. And mind you, i know he loves me very much but believe it or not, he never gave me presents on my birthday if i didn't ask for anything! he's not the kind of guy who suprise you on your birthday with an unexpected birthday gift. So, this year, i asked him for this birthday present and he has already 'bought' it!

i can see some of you laughing, oh and i saw you there with that smirk on your face. well, you guys can laugh all you want. obviously, you don't get it. oh and you over there, i saw a big question mark on your head.

now, let me explain, ok? while some of you might think this is an absurd idea, for me, this is the perfect Birthday Present ever.

why?

of course i didn't ask for a 3 days 2 nights stay at Tunes Hotel! That's ridiculous! For God's sake, i'm staying in Penampang and 1Borneo is within a walking distance from the place i work. you must be wondering, why i didn't choose some 5 star hotel like Rasa Ria or Nexus?

am i nuts?

no, i'm not.

what i had actually asked for is a 12 hours un-interrupted sleep / me-time  got it? the main point is 12 hours un-interrupted sleep / me-time and not 3 days 2 nights stay at Tunes Hotel.

and why Tunes Hotel, 1Borneo? Because... it's cheap. see? 3 days and 2 nights for RM100.48 only! FYI, i'm not even going to spend the night there. or anywhere else without my hubby & kids so i'm not spending RM1K for a place that i won't even spend the night in. the plan is, i will check in on the 8th and go home. The next day, at about 6:00 a.m or 7:00 a.m, i'll go to the hotel and start my 12 hours un-interrupted sleep / me-time! and i'll go home after 12:00 hours is up. will check out the next day. see??? rather than leaving my kids to go to some fancy resort for an un-interrupted time for myself, i can just go somewhere near to my workplace and relax. i'm pretty sure it will only feels like going to work - but instead of working, i'll be sleeping (zzzz.....) and when i couldn't sleep anymore, maybe i'll read a book. btw, will be taking a day off on that particular day.

and why un-interrupted sleep / me-time? well, if you're not a mother yet, you wouldn't understand. but mothers that have 2 [or more] kids below the age of 3 would definitely understand why sometimes we, mothers [and also wife + career woman + in my case : a student ] longed for some time for ourselves. maybe some of you don't but i do. really really really do it feels like i might go insane if i don't! i may sound selfish here for wanting an un-interrupted time, but is it wrong to ask for 12 hrs out of the almost 4 years of not having the time for yourself?

p/s : do not call me on that day, i'm going turn off my handphone!

just when i have just gone over the top with online shopping in this entry, i'm now facing the worst nightmare of an online shopper, the very kind of thing that puts aspiring online shoppers off.

paypal account is still frozen. all funds are on hold. 1st they asked for a copy of photo id and utility bill. then, a few days later, they sent me another email asking me for further informations.

1) A full description of the item that was purchased, and the value of the
item. If the payment was for a service, please describe the service purchased.
2) Please provide information regarding any relationship or business
affiliation that you have with the above party(ies).

OWH MANNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so the fate of my paypal account with almost RM800 worth of funds is now in the hand of the @$$**LE paypal-fund-seller. who keeps saying that RM800 is nothing compared to RM3K that he lost. And he refused to refund the money saying that it's not him that is holding the fund, it's paypal!

He said he was told to wait for 180 days for his account to be released and until then, the fund he transferred to me earlier [USD225] will be put on hold!

DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm beginning to hate all these. Exciting new experience my @$$!

a friend asked for help to buy something from the internet that requires paypal as method of payment

Tuesday

tried to pay using paypal, paypal keep displaying the card that was already removed from the list with no other option

keep trying for almost half-day, only found out in the evening that the current card hasn't been linked & confirmed by paypal yet and had already exceed the [paypal] spending limit.

Wednesday

look for ppl who wants to sell paypal fund [yeah... and i did asked from some of you]

finally found one, bought USD 225, made the payment via maybank2u and sent an email to the paypal seller in the morning

worry the whole morning coz didn't hear anything from the paypal seller until afternoon

finally saw him online, go and chat with him but i think he has mistaken me for somebody else, keep saying something about some form that needs to be scanned and sent to [supposedly] me - which kinda a pissed me off also, but said nothing

at about 3 o'clock in the afternoon, send me an email saying he couldn't transfer the paypal fund coz his paypal account is frozen

at about 4.30, feel worried so asked my cousin for help to transfer fund from his paypal account by credit card. he agreed but before he sent it, i thought i should asked the paypal seller to refund my money.

he's still online so i went to chat with him and the conversation went like this:

me : hi, regarding the paypal fund... [i'm not finished yet, he immediately answered]

paypal seller : i send now

me : eh? they unfreeze your account already?

paypal seller : got another account

me : owh... *dumbfounded*

thanked my cousin for wanting to help but i said no need to transfer coz prob solved.

the seller transferred USD220 only, USD5 short. told him, he said will send the balance soon. after half an hour, checked paypal account, funds were already available.

immediately paid for the something and felt utter bliss for finally completing pending transaction.

had quite a good nite sleep. [thought the nightmare is over]

Today

out of office until afternoon.

came back, checked email. surprised and totally upset for receiving 4 emails from paypal saying that my account has been frozen, they are currently investigating (2 emails about this) and transaction was put on hold [the buying of my friend's something]. OWH MANNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

luckily already informed the seller about the problems i had with paypal earlier, so she told me that she'll wait. Bless her for being so understanding and so patient.

for investigation purposes, paypal asked for a copy of my ic and a copy of recent utility bill bearing the address that i registered with them. sent. only hope they understand that BGN is the short form of BANGUNAN.

i do understand that it is their security measures, but i couldn't help being all pissed off because i know i'm the only one handling my accounts right now and i'm 100% sure there are no frauds or what so ever. ok, maybe there are some 'suspicious activities' for the past few days, but rest assured all those 'suspicious activities' are done by me!

OMG! This is by far my worst online shopping experience ever! And it's not even for me!

But may be it's me bah.. if i had confirmed all my cards with paypal before, none of this would have happened, kan?

I’m the eldest of 5 siblings - I have 3 brothers and a sister.

a few weeks back, one of my friends in friendster posted a bulletin cursing someone for being so s*ndal, stole someone's husband, had an affair until that s*ndal person got knocked-up and had a baby girl who is now a few months old.

then, a few days ago, i stumbled upon an old friend's blog (a different friend ya, not the one i mention above). she wrote about her heartbreak, how her husband cheated on her, about all the pain she felt... and suddenly all the puzzle pieces fall into place. i was like... OMG!!! that s*ndal person stole my friend's husband!!!! Memang jalang sungguh perempuan yg s*ndal itu!!! and the husband is also a pig! Biggest jerk in the whole world!!! i mean, how could he??? how could they do this to her (my friend)??!!! why???? after all she's been through, all her sacrifice, all her love for him and this is how he repays her? this is how he appreciate all the sacrifice she made for him? I wish i know the answers for all those questions so that i can comfort her. He is supposed to be her guide, after what he has turned her into, but he left her instead!

i've known her since i was in primary school. being a few years older than i, i admire her very much. i had a great respect for her because she is one of the rare people who is good in everything she do. oh, wait! let me rephrase that. She's superbly great in whatever she do! She's what you would call an all-rounder, an over-achiever. from sports, athletics to martial arts, public-speaking, music, poetry, arts, academics - she excels in everything. she is a valedictorian - i mean, she's everything! how can you not admire and have respect for a person like that?

if i were in her shoes, i would belasah the husband cukup-cukup bcos she can... jangan main-main....

so, to my dear friend, my heart goes out to you. i know i can never understand your pain, but be strong, leave everything to GOD. Maybe there's a blessing in disguise. and here's a song specially for you!

i haven't blog for a while - not because i don't have anything interesting to blog about - i do, i do have a lot of exciting things i'd like to tell the whole world, like :-

BUT

i'm busy.

i need to complete a BIG system for HR dept, which is not that complex but i find it hard coz i'm trying to program it in php - which has been around for ages now but still something very new to me. well, i can program a simple web-based application with it, it's not that i'm totally blank about that lang but this project i'm currently working on is nothing "simple". so, good luck to me.

for the past few days/weeks, i've been working quite very hard on the system but... today, i just feel like i need a one day break. spent the day bloghopping - i know my immediate boss & my BIG boss wouldn't be happy reading this. i'm pretty sure they read my blog too. i wouldn't be too happy either if i know they (the bosses) are reading my blog during office hour instead of doing what they should be doing.

and speaking of bloghopping, i found a few more blogs written by ppl from my workplace. that reminds me (again) that i'm not alone anymore...  and that i should be more careful with whatever i wrote. no more kutuk-ing anybody superior, no more bad-mouthing anybody or anything related to my workplace... which actually make it all the more difficult to blog regularly - i mean, who would want to read about your children every day? who would want to visit a blog that only post youtube videos & song lyrics? and since i'm not a cloth diaper seller, i do not see the point of blogging about cloth diapers every day. and i dont like blogging about current issues when hundreds of others are blogging about the same thing, e.g fuel price hike. and i'm pretty sure ppl do not like an "About Me" entry posted every day. i guess i might as well stop blogging at all, revert back to a hand-written journal, y'know, cute little (thick) diary with a little cute padlock.

each and every strand of my hair has a mind of their own - so selfish, they refuse to be considerate and tolerate with one another. each and every one of them wants to go their own way. each and every one of them wants to have their own look. there is a strand who likes to be extremely curly, there is a strand that chose to be so thin and transparent, there are a few strands who likes to fight with each other they end up tangled, there is one strand that thought it is funny to break into several 'branches' - trust me, this one has a serious split personality problem. sometimes it can even have like 14 'branches' - well, not funny, ok? yes, i counted them. some of them are only babies, they stand out in the crowds, i am just afraid the sparrows will find them too comfortable and turn them into their nests and lay eggs in them. then there are some who went for plastic surgery to 'whiten' their skin - mind you, they are not even friends.

i have tried so hard to get them to work with each other, but they just wouldn't listen. they are afraid of the shampoo girl at Julia's though... they will behave, but after a few days, they will start to wander on their own again.

i don't wear make-ups

not even lipsticks

so do you realize that the hair is suppose to play a very important role on a person like me?

*sigh*

and sempat lagi c jnr went outstation to Kudat today... was so angry with his stupid company! what if suddenly i'm in labor today? told him, if anything happens today, i'll call his boss and ask him to be in the clinic with me instead.

okaylah... ellone wants me to read her Humpty Dumpty dulu... til then ppl!

i'm in no mood to blog lately....

i have so many things in my mind that i'd like to put into writings but i dunno... i guess i'm just too lazy nowadays feel tired all the time i even doze off at work, while sitting down, in front of my pc, while typing! can u imagine that??? that's just how tired i am... so... if i didnt get to finish this entry... just assume that i'm already in zzzz land la..

actually i wanted to blog about my Ellone who had just turn 2 on 2nd February... was planning to upload a dozen photos of hers - 13-24mths... but couldnt find the time to select and organize those photos... guess that'll hv to wait. still cant believe she a big girl now... and she's starting to love "reading" books. her current favourite is Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs. before bed, she'll ask either jnr or me to read the book for her... she can even memorize some of the words/phrases in that book...

last tuesday, went to the doctor to check on little xavier. doctor told us that "baby is growing up normally" and that he's going to be "one very big baby"! i'm only into my 31 wks - that's about 7mths & 3 wks along and little xavier's estimated weight is already 2.4kg (2434g to be exact!) oo.. but this time, i'm planning to go for c-section also so, not that scared lah...

aiyaaaaaa......
actually i already typed in a loooooong entry on giving birth naturally and c-sect and about being a good mother... somehow, i had accidently punched some keys on the keyboard and POOF! it was all gone! DAMN! when i use the recover post, only manage to recover the portion b4 this paragraph... so lazy to type them back...

Short Update!

1. Congratulate me you guys! (muka tia malu kan? ) ellone is going to have a baby brother!!!!!

2. Jnr went outstation again, will only be back on Thursday. called him just now, if everything goes well, maybe he can come back tomorrow. hmmm... fingers crossed dis...

3. Final exam is almost over, 1 more paper to go...

one boring wednesday

today was 'almost' an unproductive day for me. still on leave and i had nothing to do. woke up at about 8:30 a.m and then spent my time surfing the net and downloading stuff. finally decided to take my bath at 11:00 a.m, had breakfast - which is more like brunch - and then decided that i need a hairwash. just realized that i hvnt washed my hair for almost 2 weeks! i'm disgusting, i know... so at about 11:30 a.m, headed to Julia's saloon and had a very nice and relaxing hairwash. steamed my hair and shaped my eyebrows too... but looks like my right eyebrow is higher than the left one... not that obvious laa.. so... dont want to be fussy, just leave it be. nanti tumbuh, kasi bagus la. went to do some grocery shopping at chua kah seng.

when i get home, surf the net again until about 3:30p.m... had my lunch and then watched CSI Season 7 Episode 8, which is not aired in Malaysia yet and then Desperate Housewives Season 3 Episode 9 right after. also not aired in Malaysia yet. yerrrr... i really hate mike for losing his memory! and also that new MIL of Bree's. very annoying ooo...

my MIL came home from work at about 5:00 p.m, helped her to prepare dinner in the kitchen. nah... see... that's why i said 'almost' unproductive day. at least, late in the evening, i did do something emm... productive.

oya, when i came back from tambunan yesterday, a cute little puppy greeted us. they called him 'kampung'. dunno why, maybe bcos it is a kampung dog



jnr will be coming home tomorrow, yayyyy!!!

he's currently outstation in lahad datu since monday. being away from each other needs a little getting used to coz we've never been apart since we had ellone. last month, he went to Sandakan but just for one night. this time, three nights... i really really really miss him. gosh, never felt this 'missing' feeling for so long... anyway, i've read that being away once in a while is actually good for a healthy relationship so i guess, i'll have to tahan lah. i'm still lucky, some ppl dont see each other for months! i'm glad he's coming home tomorrow...

on the other hand... ellone is now officially a kid!

last night was her first night sleeping without a diaper she had been potty-trained for months and for the last 2 months or so, we only put on her diapers during her sleeping time and for the last few days, whenever i checked her diaper in the morning, it was always dry. so, last night, i decided to take the risk and she passed the test with flying colors! wahhh... mummy's sooooo proud of her little darling.

and now, she also can talk like a 4 year old kid. Lurus, clear, except for the 'R' of course... another wonderful thing to be proud of. and i dont think it's wrong to be proud when ppl tell you that you hv a very smart kid. but i know laa... talking at her age doesnt necessarily means that she's smart... oya, and we had also manage to get her off the 'cucut' about more than 2 months ago... so, there... she's not a baby or a toddler anymore!

Rest In Peace, Mama Tua

my honey called me at about 12:30 dis afternoon and told me the news. my mom tried to called me earlier but my phone was in silent mode coz i was at the Majlis Anugerah Cemerlang UMS. since she couldnt get me, she called jnr instead.

my grandmother (my father's mom) has been in coma for the past 3 weeks or so. she was the annoying grandmother i mentioned in this post. was admitted to the hospital one day before hari raya.. sakit tua bah... we dont know her exact age but i think she's about 85++ lah. her identity card number started with 29 but my dad said, she was born much earlier than that. most probably 1922...

honestly, i dont feel that sad... i mean, i sorta feel relieved knowing that finally, she's free from her suffering. i do feel sorry for her... but at least now, she wont have all those different sizes of tubes stuck up her nose - and mouth.

she was a bobolian before - or bobohizan in kadazan. in english emmm... traditional priestess kah tu or witch doctor... heheh... not really sure. please correct me aa... then, after my grandfather passed away, she became a christian but too bad, all of us forgot what her christian name is... and jadi masalah actually bcos all the sembayang2 have to use her christian name. anyway... i think God knows her bah tu, even without her christian name.

hmm... i'll only be going back to tambunan tonite, hv to wait for my papa who's currently offshore. and i'm still contemplating on whether to bring ellone along or not. i'd probably be there for at least 7 days and jnr is supposed to go outstation on the 20th until 23rd. who's going to take care of her aa??? maybe i should bring her with me. lagipun, byk juga my cousins and nieces to help me look after her.

no wonder la last nite, at about 2:30, i heard a dog barking so loud just outside our bedroom, near the window and so strange coz we dont even have a dog. our dog died a few weeks back... the dog wasnt howling, but it was barking like there was some stranger outside. it was so loud, but so strange, jnr didnt hear it. wanted to wake him up coz the dog seems to be barking forever but since he was sleeping soundly (snoring some more)... i decided - biarlah.

Pocho-pocho!

i dont know what is it with this pocho-pocho dance that almost everybody go crazy abt it. entahlah, lately, macam in every function, these ppl will try to make a slot for pocho-pocho dance, be it a wedding, company's annoual dinner, family day, uni student's open day... semua mo ada pocho-pocho.

i dont get it. seriously, i DONT get it.

no offense but i dont see any 'kesyokan' of that dance... geli ada lah NO OFFENSE! Tapi kan, apa laitu? you go (sambil lenggang-lenggang badan):
1. four steps to your right, and then
2. four steps to the left,
3. foursteps backwards, and then
4. another four steps to the front and at the same time turn to your right.
5. repeat step 1 to 4 until the music ends... which according to jnr, is about 5 minutes long!

my goodness! kalau sya laa... i wouldve fainted by the 3rd round.

my colleague even dubbed this dance as the tarian OM...

anywayyy... hv i mentioned that jnr is now working with a new company? he used to work with Lektronex Eng S/B and after 5 yrs, he decided to join Faber Medi-serve. He told me that the work env. is totally different from what he's used to. when he was with Lektronex, he build things... well, of course, not him alone lah bah... but then, he has to go to the project site every day, check on the progress, make decision on what to/not to do... assign who and who to do what and what... go meeting and fight with the s*****/d*** architect *sorry honey, that's what u told me* and... emm... mostly that's about it la... most of his working hours is spent in the project site... under the heat of the sun. i do hv a feeling that his job back then was quite stressful.

but now, i think his job is a bit more relaxing.... but a lot of OUTSTATIONS spent more of his working hours in the office, doing paperwork, reports, audits... scheduling... coz this is a maintenance company kan... and one more thing abt this new company, most of the staf are locals... so, of course the env. is much emm... friendlier than before... so, this december, they're going to have a family day and they've organized activities like futsal... and volleyball mangkali tu. and for the dinner... his colleagues decided to do a - guess what??? - POCHO-POCHO DANCE

now, they're bz practicing already and since jnr is new, they FORCE him to join them with the dance! kesian juga jnr ooo... but he said, tidak bagus juga if he refuse... nnt ppl say he sombong pula. and then, not only join in the dance tau, hv to be in the front row lagi kesian ooo... and then, all ladies lagi tu, so far only 2 guys yg ikut - including jnr la... the other guys kasi malu2 savo sya... kesian my honey kannnn... they even take video lagi...

and that's just exactly what i want to share today.... heheheh... usually i posted ellone punya video, today, we watch daddy ellone punya video so long my introduction bah... mcm mo pi donggongon dari rumah sya but taking jalan blakang, pi putatan dulu and then round kk, masuk kolombong, pi bukit padang, tembus kibabaig... baru sampai donggongon

bah, enjoy the video aa... not that clear la bcos they use hphone bah...
